In the opening scene of our film noir Money, Anastasia and I will challenge the typical stereotype of female representation. Looking at the typical narrative of noir the male is the dominant character in the movie, while the female character is less important compared to the males. Our main character Juliet is just another pretty, polished, blonde, elegant woman that would look incapable of most things, but when it actually comes to running her own bar she's the boss at it. Our film is set in the early 1950's New-York. The time square's best bar. It's mysterious and private, people know nothing about the owners which pulls their interest into visitation. Juliet Kingsman runs keeps the club going by holding her personal life private. She has a loving husband, but no children. John Kingsman is a lawyer, he's the one who coming home earlier and takes the role of the 'housewife'. They love each other but as every as every couple they do come across problems...
